One of our Team Leaders, Tim Emburey at Chestnut View Care Home, part of the Future Care Group, took on another challenge to raise money to help the people who need our help the most.
This is what Tim said: “Our world is in turmoil. More than 100 million people have fled their homes worldwide because of conflict or disaster, and that number is rising.
That’s why I’m taking the Ration Challenge. For one week, I’ll be eating the same rations as a Syrian refugee – just a small amount of rice, flour, lentils, chickpeas, beans, fish (or tofu) and oil.
It is going to be hard, but it will all be worth it because I will be raising money to help bring emergency food, healthcare and life-saving support to the people who need it most.”
Let’s help Tim to him reach his goal of £200! The donation page is as follows (simply click on the link):
