Valentine’s Day Art

Residents of Priory Court Care Home really enjoy their craft work, and when asked about Valentine’s Day, they said they wanted to make a display of hearts.

Each resident designed their heart, down to the colours and what they wanted to decorate it with, the table was full of lots of art bits, and they enjoyed picking out what they wanted. Our dear resident, Iris, asked for a red card cut out into teardrop shapes for the blood from an arrow going through a heart.

The finished products were then put on a display board for everyone to see. During the activity, we had care staff and management wanting to get involved, which made a lovely atmosphere and lots of chatter and laughter. It was a lovely day, and it was wonderful to see so many residents being so creative with their designs!
