On the 12th of June, at Kings Lodge Nursing Home, everyone gathered for a spectacular King’s Got Talent Show. We must admit, it was a fantastic event!
Who would have thought there were so many talented individuals at Kings Lodge? All the participants dedicated significant time and effort to excel and compete for the top spot. The past month was filled with countless rehearsals, meticulous planning, and creative decorating to make the show as special as it was.
On the day itself, our ground floor lounge was transformed into a professional stage for our performers. Residents, family members, friends, and a few guests came to witness the show. Judges took their places, residents and family members settled into their seats, and the show began.
There was a variety of performances: singing, dancing, a fashion show, and even a magician who dazzled us with his marvellous tricks. Everyone was astonished by the quality of the performances, the lighting, the music, and the costumes. There was plenty of cheering, singing along, and swaying to the music. After the show, everyone was invited to enjoy refreshments and a buffet.
We can genuinely say that this show was a resounding success, thanks to the feedback from residents, family members, and guests. When asked if they enjoyed the show, the comments were: “I enjoyed it very much,” “It was a fantastic show; you were all amazing,” “Well done, everyone”.
