With so many places to choose from, staff and residents at Stowford House Care Home made a last-minute decision to visit the Living Rainforest in Berkshire, and it was the perfect choice! It turned out to be a fantastic day in a remarkable place.
Peter, one of our residents, had never been to a rainforest before and described it as one of the most incredible experiences of his life, even moving him to tears. Margaret loved seeing the birds, animals, and exotic plants, while Pat was simply happy to be there with her husband, Sandy, reminding us that family matters most.
A special thanks to our kitchen staff for the delicious picnic, which made the day even more enjoyable.
The trip was a wonderful reminder to appreciate the beauty of the natural world!
