Wear It Pink Day at Steep House

Standing Together for Breast Cancer Awareness

Our residents at Steep House Nursing Home proudly joined in for Wear It Pink Day, showing their support for breast cancer awareness with a wonderful display of pink jumpers, scarves, and ribbons. Residents and staff alike donned pink with pride, standing in solidarity with all those affected by this important cause and raising awareness within our community.

The day was filled with meaningful activities and warm moments. Teatime was made extra special with a spread of delicious pink-themed cakes and treats, adding a festive touch that everyone enjoyed. Residents also took part in a creative pink-themed colouring session, which sparked conversations about the impact of breast cancer and why awareness is so important.

Events like these go beyond fun and festivities; they bring a sense of purpose and unity, offering residents the chance to stay engaged with broader causes. Through shared activities, our residents keep their minds active, spirits high, and connections strong. Wear It Pink Day reminded us of the power of community and compassion, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support shown by our residents and staff alike.

We look forward to continuing our efforts to support breast cancer awareness and making a difference together.
