Residents of Cedar View, their relatives and staff enjoyed a 1950s themed summer party with Elvis impersonator Paul who entertained everyone with his dance moves.
Elvis invited relatives Tony and Suzanne and Claire (activities coordinator) to be back up dancers, they wore grass skirts and shook their maracas which residents thought was hilarious.
Managing Director and Group Head of Operations were in attendance and gave moving speeches welcoming family and friends back at Cedar. Home Manager Isabel said that having a celebration for both our residents, friends and family was essential for our residents’ wellbeing.
Resident Bryan Yates said the party was absolutely fantastic and he cannot wait for the next one.
Tony, a daughter of a resident who sadly passed away, attended our party and said how lovely it was to be invited to the summer party and that she is very grateful for the love and care her father received while here at Cedar and how great it was to see everyone celebrating together again.
