A Creative October at Kings Lodge

October has been a wonderful month of creativity, laughter, and community spirit here at Kings Lodge! Our residents have truly embraced the season, pouring their artistic talents into a variety of decorations that now brighten every corner of our home.

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, residents made beautiful pink decorations, filling our spaces with thoughtful symbols of hope and support. Later in the month, we shifted to a Halloween theme, with residents getting hands-on crafting spooky ghosts, pumpkins, and other festive decorations to celebrate the season. The result is a home transformed, buzzing with colour and personality.

Beyond the decorations themselves, these activities have sparked warm conversations and fond memories, bringing everyone closer around the table. It’s these moments of shared laughter and collaboration that create a sense of belonging and joy among our residents and staff alike. We are so grateful for the opportunity to nurture these connections and look forward to many more moments of creativity and togetherness in the months ahead!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making October such a memorable month at Kings Lodge—we can’t wait to see what we’ll create next!
