Our recent Quoits game at Southborough Nursing Home was a fantastic success! The energy in the room was infectious as our residents enjoyed a lively afternoon of fun and friendly competition. The smiles were truly contagious!
One of the highlights was seeing Lesley toss a perfect hoop and celebrate with a well-deserved round of applause for herself—self-appreciation at its finest! And Margaret’s joyful expressions throughout the game made the experience even more enjoyable, reminding us all of the importance of staying active while having fun.
After the excitement of Quoits, we wound down together with a classic film—Audrey Hepburn’s Charade—the perfect way to relax and enjoy some quiet time in good company.
Games like Quoits not only bring joy to our residents but also provide excellent physical and mental benefits, helping everyone stay active, sharp, and socially connected. It’s a wonderful reminder of how maintaining a playful spirit can enhance well-being at any age!
