Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Stowford House

Joining Together for a Great Cause

This October, Stowford House residents and staff proudly came together to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the national ‘Wear It Pink’ campaign. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and a sea of pink, as our community embraced this important cause with open hearts.

From residents donning their finest pink outfits to engaging in a range of pink-themed activities, the atmosphere was full of positivity and excitement. There was a wonderful sense of unity as everyone got involved, whether it was crafting pink decorations, enjoying themed games, or simply wearing pink in solidarity. The highlight was seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces as they participated in these activities, all while raising funds to support vital breast cancer research.

At Stowford House, we understand the importance of keeping our residents active, engaged, and connected. Events like this, which combine fun with a meaningful cause, offer the perfect opportunity to do just that. It’s a reminder of how we can make a difference together, no matter our age or ability. Not only did our residents enjoy a fantastic day, but they also contributed to the wider effort to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research—a cause that touches the lives of so many.

We are incredibly proud of everyone at Stowford House for their participation and enthusiasm. This event showed the strength of our community, and how we can come together to support those in need.

Let’s continue to spread awareness, raise funds, and stand united in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can help make a real difference.
