Over the last couple of days, Steep House Nursing Home has been doing a variety of activities and spent a lot of time in our beautiful gardens.
Resident, Roy, has been donating all the seed packets that come with his gardening magazine to Martyn. Martyn, our other dear resident, has planted lots of them into one of the beds in the garden, and Roy went out today to see how they were growing.
We are looking forward to seeing this bed in full bloom. Residents have been reading magazines and doing aqua painting outside and enjoying teatime out as well. Our resident, Marjorie, had a good time looking through a book on cats, her favourite animals.
Our residents also spent time today building Lego as part of National Creativity Day. Both Colin and Roy enjoyed building Lego vehicles.
