We are delighted to announce that Toulla, one of our skilled trainee chefs, has been honoured as this month’s ‘Employee of the Month’ in recognition of her outstanding abilities. Toulla has been an integral part of Oaklands for the past 17 months.
With her boundless enthusiasm and dedication, Toulla ensures our residents receive a well-balanced diet through her exceptional culinary creations. She consistently goes above and beyond to cater to the dietary needs of our residents.
The role of a care home chef is vital in providing our residents with nutritious and balanced meals, which are crucial for their overall health, well-being, and quality of life. The food and drink provided have a significant impact on their health outcomes.
Toulla exemplifies this commitment in every dish she prepares. Her dedication is also evident in her cake-baking classes, where her meticulous attention to detail shines through in the beautifully decorated birthday cakes she creates for our residents.
Our Admin Manager, Sally, commended Toulla’s remarkable contributions by presenting her with a well-deserved plaque and certificate, while our Home Manager, Byron, awarded her with a voucher.
