This month, The Boynes Care Centre was filled with excitement as our residents enjoyed a special visit from the charming Lollipop Ponies, who arrived dressed in festive Halloween costumes! Adorned with tiny witches’ hats, capes, and even a few pumpkins, the ponies brought a unique touch of Halloween spirit that delighted everyone.
The day began with a cheerful gathering in the lounge, where residents shared laughter and smiles as they awaited their special guests. Each pony made its grand entrance, clip-clopping across the floor and meeting residents one by one. After some lovely group time, the ponies trotted down the halls to visit each resident’s room, ensuring that everyone had the chance to spend a few magical moments with these sweet, gentle animals.
The joy was evident in every smile and warm hug shared with the ponies. These interactions bring so much to our residents’ lives—brightening their days, lifting spirits, and creating treasured memories that last well beyond the visit. It’s moments like these that foster a sense of community and connection, making our care home a truly special place to be.
