Celebrating St. George’s Day at Acacia Care!
Saint George’s Day is a special occasion that honours the legendary figure of Saint George, known for his courage and chivalry. Saint George is a patron saint of England.
What better way to celebrate than hosting a traditional English tea party? We also held a St George’s Day-themed quiz that included questions about the history of the day, famous dragon-slaying tales, and facts about England.
Residents enjoyed watching Morris dancing while drinking tea. We also listened to the hymn ‘Jerusalem’ while weaving the English flag.
Everyone had a great afternoon.
