Oakland’s House Care Centre residents, families, and staff had a great time celebrating the King’s Coronation in style with an amazing party. A fantastic performance by our special guest, Jackie, had everyone singing, dancing, clapping, and waving their flags!
Once the entertainment had come to an end, the Lifestyles team wearing their red, white, and blue outfits provided everyone with a good old sing along with musical instruments. For the last song, God Save The King was sung. Much hilarity was had using the photo booth and props. We thank you all for joining us for this special occasion. Once again, happiness and laughter abounded with everyone joining in.
An amazing array of food was displayed by our chef. We had coronation chicken sandwiches, various filled rolls, savoury bites, cheese board, cakes, scones with cream and jam, themed cupcakes, and, of course a glass of bubbly. A stunning coronation celebration cake was made by our chef Sarah and her mum, Anthea Barrett.
Oakland’s House Coronation party was a great success!
