A Wonderful Community Success!
Our recent Macmillan Coffee Morning was a resounding success, bringing together residents, their families, local community members, and students from Woolmer Hill School for an enjoyable day in support of a fantastic cause. With everyone’s generosity, we raised an impressive £219 to support Macmillan Cancer Support’s vital work.
The café-style setup created a warm and welcoming environment where residents could enjoy meaningful conversations over delicious cakes, take part in a lively quiz, and join in the excitement of an enticing raffle. It was a pleasure to see our residents engage so enthusiastically, sharing laughter and stories in a room filled with community spirit and connection.
The atmosphere was truly special, with residents and visitors alike creating new memories and building friendships. Events like these are so valuable—they help keep our residents socially active, lift spirits, and foster a sense of purpose and community.
