Recently, our residents and staff from Priory Court Care Home enjoyed a truly special day out with a visit to the magnificent Guildford Cathedral. The outing provided a refreshing change of scenery and allowed everyone to bask in the beauty and tranquillity of this historic setting, making it a memorable experience for all.
The group marvelled at the cathedral’s stunning architecture, admiring the intricate details and peaceful atmosphere that filled the space. Wandering through the vast halls and admiring the soaring ceilings offered a serene escape, and the quiet beauty of the surroundings provided a unique opportunity for reflection and connection.
For some, the visit sparked warm memories and personal stories. One resident shared how meaningful it was to be in such a special environment, while another fondly remembered her mother’s lovingly embroidered kneelers from a church in Bath, evoking a heartfelt connection to past family traditions and places of worship.
