Oaklands House Care Centre had a blooming good time bringing in the start of Spring during our flower arranging activity!
Each resident added their touch to create beautiful arrangements with flowers, greenery, and coloured gypsophila. The vibrant colours and fragrant blooms filled the Willow Lounge with joy!
We reminisced of our favourite flowers: Betty loves roses, Irene’s favourites are daffodils and tulips, June recalls yellow roses in her garden, while Flo, Rose, and Susan couldn’t choose as they love all flowers!
The afternoon continued as we ventured out into our sensory courtyard to look and smell the spring flowers in bloom, thanks to our green-fingered gardener Jenny’s magical displays.
It was a wonderful afternoon of creativity and companionship, showcasing the beauty that blossoms when our dear residents come together for meaningful activities.
