Kings Lodge Nursing Home recently celebrated International Country Music Day, and what a toe-tapping day it was!
Our home transformed into a lively honky-tonk, filled with music, laughter, and good ol’ country charm! In the weeks leading up to the event, our creative residents helped make rustic props and decorations, including a fun “Wanted” frame for photos! The atmosphere was truly Wild West with hay bales and country-inspired touches all around.
The day featured live music from a talented country singer and our amazing staff even learned line dancing routines to perform for the residents, bringing the house down with their moves! Residents also joined in on the dancing, showing off their own steps!
We enjoyed delicious country classics like hot dogs, beans, and plenty of tasty snacks, making sure no one went hungry while they soaked up the country vibes.
It was a brilliant day that really brought our community together, with smiles all around. A big thank you to our incredible staff for their hard work and to our wonderful residents for making it such a memorable celebration! Days like these make Kings Lodge feel like home.
