Our Belief is that your future matters
Rachel Wilson
Home Manager
Hello, my name is Rachel and I am the Home Manager here at Holmwood Care Centre. I am a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of practice, my professional background is in End-of-Life Care and Hospice Care.
Prior to joining the Future Care Group, I worked as a Registered Manager in the Worcestershire area, looking after residents with a variety of individual needs.
I believe in providing the best care possible for our residents, creating a welcoming home form home environment whist ensuring each person’s individual needs are met with dignity and respect.
I have a great team of staff here at Holmwood, who are always happy to help, I believe in an open-door policy where residents, relatives and staff can feel free to come and see me to discuss any issues or concerns.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring new areas with our dog.
Kim Howard
Administration Manager
Hello, I’m Kim. I have been the Administration Manager at Holmwood for 18 years and have previously worked in Personnel Admin before taking time off to have a family.
I enjoy working in an environment that is challenging and rewarding, which is why I love Holmwood! The residents are wonderful here and I love being a part of their lives every day. There is a good team at Holmwood with quite a few members of staff who have been here for a number of years. This makes for a solid base for our work at Holmwood.
I look forward to continuing in my role and ensuring that Holmwood is a happy home for everyone.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family.
Leah Cullen
Lifestyle Lead
Hello, I’m Leah.
I have been working in care homes for 7 years and have always loved being around the elderly, learning their stories and helping with anything they need.
I’ve worked very closely with residents that have been diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Holmwood is a beautiful home and is very welcoming to everyone who comes into this building.
The residents will always be a number one priority for me and I want to make them as comfortable as possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing and spending time with my cat Babs as well as my family and friends.
Julie Hudson
Head of Housekeeping
Before progressing to Head of Housekeeping at Holmwood, I was a laundry assistant for over 2 years. I always enjoyed my position at this care home and was keen to progress!
I have a fantastic team, staff and residents are always smiling and supporting each other.
Every day is unique and rewarding. I will be happy to stay here for a long time!

I combine health and safety, Fire Marshall, Fire Door assessments and general maintenance in my role. I am always happy to support and assist Maintenance Managers in other homes in the Future Care Group. As you can imagine, there is never a dull moment here at Holmwood. We try to keep the time light-hearted so that everyone enjoys being here.
