How to find our care home near Abingdon
Stowford House Care Home can be found near Abingdon, benefitting from the quiet surroundings in the west side of this historic market town. You’ll be able to reach us using one of the following convenient methods.
Car
We are located in Shippon, which is on the western outskirts of Abingdon. To reach us from the north, such as if you’re travelling from Wooton, you’ll need to follow the B4017 until you can turn right onto Long Tow. After half a mile you can turn left onto Cholswell Road and can continue onto Faringdon Road to find us on the left. If you are travelling through Abingdon, you should follow the B4017 until you reach the roundabout. You can then take the 1st exit onto Faringdon Road. Continue along this long road and head over the next roundabout, proceeding for another mile until you find us on the right.
Public transport
The best way to reach us using public transport is by using the bus. There are two bus stops near our care home in Abingdon, which are both served by the local 33 bus route. Barrow Road is a mere 100 metres away, whilst Cholswell Road is 200 metres away. This means that the furthest you’ll have to walk to reach us is 3 minutes!
